New CPU Cooler Product
 

Hydrocool is proud to announce the launch of its new CPU Cooler product range, the Hydro-TEC, Hydro-Stream and Hydrop-Spin.  These innovative cooling devices have broken new ground in heat transfer capability, reliability and cost savings.  Our cooling technology has been proven over the past six years in over 60,000 Panasonic thermoelectric mini bar fridges and is now available for extreme cooling of personal computers.

 

 

As well as greatly enhancing the cooling performance Hydrocool's design tem has paid attention to simplicity, reliability and ease of installation.  No more motherboard removal, no awkward and complicated installation instruction, just wipe on some thermal paste, locate the cooler and snap over the locking lever.  You can be extreme cooling in less than five minutes...... more information coming soon.

 

 

 

 


Condensation is the process where vapour changes into liquid. Any chilled surface exposed to ambient air will cause condensation, as seen when you take a can of drink from the refrigerator, and droplets quickly appear on the outside. This is a cool effect for advertising cold drinks, but is not so great when mixed with semiconductor electronic devices such as your personal computer. Hydro-TEC is designed with a few features to help you out to prevent condensation on your CPU.


The HydroTEC is a Peltier chiller that replaces the water block in a water-cooled PC. 

Our recent research achievements in thermoelectric cooling systems:

* Prototype thermoelectric 250 litre refrigerator, achieves COP of 1.2

* Domestic thermoelectric refrigerator/freezer, build in collaboration with Matshurshita Refrigeration Company, that achieved 528 kWhr/yr in the JIS energy rated test (25 ambient, 5 fridge, 18 freezer). Testing under extreme conditions (30 degrees ambient, 85% RHJ), the freezer was able to effortlessly maintain - 25° C.

* High efficiency thermoelectric heat exchanger with a remarkably low thermal resistance of 0.01°  C/W.
